Our Privacy Policy

The privacy and security of our clients and their information is of paramount importance to us, which is why My Montana Registered Agent Services LLC takes strict precautions to keep your data safe as possible from prying eyes. We never sell your data, and in fact, we only use your data for purposes relevant to the Montana business services we provide. We know what it is like to be a business owner, and how valuable privacy can be.

Our goal is for this Privacy Policy to offer a clear and concise explanation of how we collect, manage, and use your data.

Data Privacy Legislation in Montana

It is well known in the business world that Montana offers exceptional privacy protection for business owners, but what about consumers? Montana still has a long way to go before its data privacy legislation equals that of California and some other data-privacy focused states, but the 2015 passing of Senate Bills SF35 and SF36 shows that Montana is up to the task. These bills broadened Montana’s definition of “personal identifying information” (including even unique biometric data paired with a consumer’s first name or first initial and last name) and expanded the state’s requirements for individuals and businesses providing breach notifications to affected Montana residents.

But even if Montana itself still has a ways to go when it comes to data privacy, the same thing can’t be said for us. At Montana Registered Agent Services LLC, we’re a privacy-focused company that strives to keep your data secure and never sells our user or client data to third-parties. We hang our hat on caring for our customers and their information as we would our own. For us, there is no other way to do business.
